WEPT testing is administered by the Writing Center

SSU is a certified testing site for proctoring exams. Sonoma State Testing Services administers the following fixed scheduled tests: SAT, GRE, LSAT, and MPRE exams. The TEAS Test is administered by the Nursing Dept. The SSU Testing Office only administers tests and does not provide advising nor interpretation of tests or policy for admissions purposes.

Proctoring Services

SSU offers test proctoring services for online paper/computer based type of tests like BYU, CLEP, DANTES, certifications, on-demand based testing services, etc. The SSU Proctoring fee, aside from the exam fee itself, is a flat rate of $25.00 paid online. Sessions are only during the following time-frames by appointment only. Payment information.

To set up an appointment, contact Lu Vega by email Luis.Vega@sonoma.edu for day availability and booking. Please inquire at least 3 days in advance to possibly secure a date.

GRE (Graduate Record Exam) - Paper Subject Tests Only

Location: Report to Darwin Hall Lobby area with picture ID. Do not bring cell phones. Those with Special Accommodations, please report to Salazar Hall 1070 and wait in the reception area until called. A parking permit is required during the weekend.  

LSAT and MPRE (Law School Admissions Test and Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam)

Location: Report to Darwin Hall Lobby area with registration/admittance ticket and picture ID. Do not bring cell phones. Those with Special Accommodations, please report to Salazar Hall 1070 and wait in the reception area until called.  A parking permit is required during the weekend. 

SAT: (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

Location

Examinees meet at Darwin Lobby area, ground floor. Those with Special Accommodations, please report to Salazar Hall 1070 and wait in the reception area until called. A parking permit is required during the weekend.

Times

Reporting time is 8am. The times will be printed on your Registration Ticket and is available once your registration is complete. Please bring hard copy of Registration Ticket and picture ID. Students will not be allowed to test without a picture card ID, no cell phone ID's accepted. Failure to print ticket may result in not being able to take the exams. Please, do not bring cell phone or only show 'cell phone Registration Tickets' as cell phones are not allowed during the testing sessions.
